For the last 20 years he has taught Bollywood singers and professionals like Shaan, Ankita Sachdev, Seerat Kapoor, Kanika Laal and more, as well as upcoming Bollywood singers.
Sanjeev Sir's singing journey began under the guidance of his sister, gold medalist Dr. Anjana Chatterjee (Ghosh), a renowned classical singer and doctorate in music from Delhi University. He further refined his singing skills under the guidance of Padmashri Ustaad Hafiz Ahmed Khan, a master of Indian classical music. He is a specialist in light classical music and Ghazal singing. He is also a professional keyboard player.
